Needless to say, I'm Betsy, a college educated stay at home mom to three boys, and wife to a wonderful husband. My hubby is in the military, so we live wherever the Air Force tells us we have to. Currently it's Kaiserslautern, Germany, before this it was Cocoa Beach, Florida (hard life I tell you, hard life).
Needless to say, I love baking and cooking, hence the reason for the blog. I've had a few people say to me, "you should start a blog", ask and sometimes you'll receive...and those people received. I think I got the cooking/baking gene from my mother, whom also loves to cook. She makes an AWESOME chocolate sheet cake that EVERYONE, who has tried it, loves. I plan on trying to make it, but it intimidates me, as everyone she's given the recipe to usually says, "it didn't turn out the way yours does." We shall see, if I can make the infamous chocolate sheet cake (my family will sure be pleased if I do!).
Not sure exactly where this blog will go to, but I hope the people that look at it, enjoy it, and find recipes that their family will love.
